Explore the vivid coral reefs on excellent snorkeling and scuba diving excursions.
  • Let's talk about travel insurance - I personally feel that it's vital to have travel insurance when you're traveling, especially overseas. It gives you security to know that you will be taken care of in case of an unforeseen emergency. Like car insurance, I hate to pay it but in case I have an accident, I'm always glad that I'm fully covered. For more travel insurance information please go to www.faye.com

  • Make sure that your passport is up to date with at least a 6 month post international air travel time frame. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html/

  • Make 2 xerox copies of your passport: take 1 copy with you in a separate piece of luggage and leave 1 copy with a trusted person stateside.

  • International flights require 3 hours minimum check-ins. I find when traveling abroad, having my Global Entry, tsa pre -check and clear helps to facilitate the stress of long lines. (Just go to the front of the line Sir/Maam). https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry

  • Registering your international travel with S.T.E.P. (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program) is always a good idea. https://step.state.gov/step/

  • Make sure to have the US Embassy & Consulate contact information (+1-202-501-4444) / (+1-888-407-4747) or in Male +94 (11) 249-8500. http://travel.state.gov

  • Have a copy of your E-Ticket on your phone with the printed barcode. Have the contact information for the resort and ground transportation with you (Although our Heavenly Bliss representatives will monitor your arrival and meet you at the airport please have the travel contact reference sheet with you).

  • Take a major credit card (Visa or Mastercard). AMEX and Discover are not widely accepted internationally. Place your credit cards on travel notification to prevent declines due to fraud alerts.

  • Contact your cell phone carrier to notify them of your international travel plans or get a travel coverage plan. Although there is free WIFI Internet service available. You might want to pay an additional $10 service to your cell phone carrier (before you leave the States).

  • Suggest family and friends contact you on WhatsApp at no cost. Don’t forget to turn off roaming on your cell phone. And remember to connect with us on WhatsApp.
